I am entering the weight into my product details in my online store and I get the message "Wrong Number Format"

My units are kgs and my item only weighs 25 grams so I would need to enter .025 kgs but it won't let me. What am I doing wrong and how do I enter grams for it to be accepted.

Please help

Hello Pam,

There may be a 2 decimal point limit on the weight field. I can't find a description of this in the Ecwid KB as yet but I'll keep looking.

I would change the units to grams and in the case of a 1Kg or 5 Kg weight then add it as 1000 or 5000 grams and obviously in your case it would be 25. To change the units go to the Store control panel via Manage Store... General>Units and select the g as your unit weight.

If I come across specific details I'll point you to the discussion.

There's one thread where a user was using fraction weights and they weren't working. The solution it seems was to place a leading zero (before the decimal point) and this seems to have worked. It's still not a definitive answer as the solution was only using a 1 decimal place weight eg; 0.5 lbs.

It worked! Thank you.

I entered it as 0.025, it rounded it to 0.03 which is fine, but yes it accepted this format. As simple as adding a zero in the front.

Thanks again!!!
