Hi Ed!

Thanks for the great information!

I have created a button using www.mycoolbutton.com and uploaded it to my site. It looks great but how do I assign code to it? I created an "email me" button so I would like to assign an email link to the button.

Hi 1confusedblugger,

It's a simple task for you to create a link to this. One of the easiest with Yola.

One option is to place your image via a text widget.

OK. So then you would drag a text widget from the content area. Place your image in the text widget. To manipulate the position you can use the alignment facilites in the text widget L, Cent, R. Now if you highlight the image by R click and drag over it then go to the little link icon (looks like a chain link in the text editor bar) This will open a dialogue box and you will see an email link as an option. Fill in the address and you're done.

An alternative is to place your image using the image widget of the content side bar. Select your image and create a link by selecting the properties section of the side bar with your image selected. Then you simply go to Link> select a link and fill in the email link details.
