I have run across hundreds of slideshow generators and this one is by far the best I have seen in years.

http://slideful.com/

* Easy to upload your images (20 image limit)
* Over 13 size/dimension choices
* Add text on top of your images (animated text also)
* 22 frame choices
* 17 transition choices
* Image transition speed settings (recommend longer than the 3 second default)
* 4 player choices
* 5 zoom choices (yes I did say ZOOM)

I recommend using the "Option: HTML code (Suggested)" on the "Using your slideshow" page. If you use the zoom feature you would be best to use the third generated script in the green boxes as the first does not seem to work with the zoom popup.

All in all it is a fairly simple to use, easy to understand and pretty awesome of a free slideshow generator.

Register for free to edit your slideshows later as they will be saved in your account page.

I have a feeling that this one will become the favorite of many out there...

Happy site building
Ed

Hey Ed,

I uncovered this treat a month or so ago. I was blown away by it and am now using it for everything!

Thanks for posting this goody!

Great minds girl... Great minds... ;)

I somehow lost this little jewel in my bookmarks and ran across it today after 2+ years of inactivity.

My brain resets itself every 6 or so months LOL so I forget the good stuff like this sometimes. ;)

Try simplebooklet.com for a wide variety of slideshows that fade, slide, and scroll. They offer page actions, custom sizes and various design elements. Free account or upgraded Plus account for $20/year. Copy html code of your completed slideshow and paste it into an html widget on your site. Auto updates too. No more javascript or jquery nonsense.

@Yola, please look at Liz's past posts in other threads for you will see a common theme of her sharing the exact (identical) info as she did above in them as well. I stopped counting at 5 but I would imagine that there are far more...

Unfortunately, I replied to many "slideshow" topics before I realized I could actually create a new topic. Sorry 'bout the redundancy.

Having had shared literally hundreds and hundreds of links to free resources online to help others with their site building needs I would as you just did include a fresh thread with those links so that anytime a member would search for a particular item, issue, problem or solution they would have that thread as a search result. I have countless tips here there and everywhere in the forums for that reason.

If one was to post the exact same content (as you did) that gives both your fellow site builders as well as the Yola team the impression of a spammer but if you are here to either seek out assistance or to give it then you are a most welcome person.

Welcome and happy site building Liz...

Thanks for that information, Ed. I'm not a spammer...just excited about the simplebooklet slideshow. I have deleted my redundant comment from the other threads.
