I just thought of an idea that may work with my Yola site. Right now I have seperate pages for my shows/ playlists and archives. I was just thinking if I used an accordion menu or maybe two accordion menus per page, I could put the contents of the seperate pages into their own accordion.

So for example, I could have an accordion menu with 5 categories, A, B, C, D, E. Under A, I would have a list of items that belong under the letter A, and so on a so forth. I think this might be do able and I am really excited to find out!! Comments? This would really simplify things for me in a BIG way!!

Hi Randy,

You could definitely use an accordian or a drop down menu to achive what your trying to do.

Just so you know, when your researching it... you will need whats called a 3 level menu

The top level would be
shows | playlists | archives

The second level would be
A | B | C | D | E | F | G | H | etc.

And the 3rd level would contain a link to the content.

Good luck with it - Lee.

You can do a three link accordion? That's cool. What I am thinking of doing is for example, on my Playlists page, I would have an accordion with the top level being :

2010| 2009| 2008 | 2007 | 2006

Sow that that when I click on 2010, a list of ppaylists for 2010 would appear. This list wild contain anchor tags to the files that reside on my hosting server. Make sense?

So, I would have an accordion menu for my Home page to contain all the text that appears there now:

The Beginning | Radio | The Future

Somthing like this.

My Interviews page would have only one top level entry called Interviews with the list of interviews appearing when you click on Interviews.

My Radio Shows Accordion would Have 2010 2009 | 2008 etc... I might have two accordions for this one. The first one being 2000-2010 and the second being 1989-1999. Something like that.

Doing it this way would only mean I have five or six pages to deal with instead over over 30.

as you can see, Lee, I love trying out new things to see how they work.

I have all of the code to set up the Accordion menu but don't know how to implement it in Yola. Any ideas?
