Hi Damager

I'm sure that something like that can be made. I would suggest going to www.dynamicdrive.com and seeing what they have. Just be mindful if you need to use a .js file, you'll need to host this file on a file hosting site and link to it as Yola does not allow this file ext. to be uploaded.

The link that you shared in your post - the slide-in script, is that what you're wanting to use? Did you need help implementing into your site?

From what I can see, it looks straight-forward.

So, what you have to do is copy "step 1" and paste into an HTML widget box on your site builder. Place this box high up on your page.

Then, drag another HTML widget box over. Copy "step 2" code and paste into the box. Place underneath your 1st html box.

You can configure the links, background, etc...

Ahhhh... you would need to hide these links. You do this by clicking on "edit menu", then drag all the pages from "in menu" to "out menu". You will need to make sure your new menu is on every page or else the user will not have a way to get to the other pages.

The script that you've chosen is a slide-in menu. If you look to the left of your screen, you should see a rectangle. Click on that, and your menu will slide out. This script does not do what your picture shows, which is why I asked if this is the one you wanted. If you want the one that your picture shows above, then you will need to find a different script. I can probably find one for you but I just don't have the time right now. Perhaps later on tonight I can search for something similar to your picture above.

Hi D,
I think you need what they call a chrome css menu. This uses a style and looks like the picture above.

Dynamic Drive also have such a menu available.

I think it is D.

I just quickly looked over the code. There's some js but mostly html. There's no code to upload and the files that you need are provided in a zip file from the download.

If you want to move away from the standard colours provided you can do this using a fairly good quality image program.

I hope that it's a start for you.

Hey D,

I've been working on a few menu options lately.
What I'm doing this time round, is experimenting on a different page with
each type instead of deleting and trying a new one each time.
My plan is to eventually do a tutorial for each one when I have the time.

I think, from your screenshot, I might have done what you are looking for.
Have a look here: http://forsite.synthasite.com/menu-dr...

If its not what you are looking for, let me know because I have more...

D,

I would think that this will be a moderately time consuming project as there would be lots of things to try out to see what looks best.

There are a few options immediately including left, centered or right aligned etc. The getting of the style itself is one aspect. You would probably need to find it in other parts of your codes. and then place it in this menu.

There are choices to be made.
You have to decide how you want it to look.
If you want to match other things on your page you can do this, but you have to find out their styles to be able to do that.

Ok Al,

I'll try write up some tutorials this weekend.

According to some of these code author's "terms of use", I can't re-post the code, so the tutorial will somehow have to involve looking at my page source code. (tricky) I'll give it some thought though.

Bear in mind that copying the code into your site is the easy part... Configuring the menu to go to your respective page's (links) is not..

I have been playing around with a few menu options lately.
