A subdomain with a different template

Hi there everyone!

I have two questions:

- How do I create a subdomain? I already have www.mydomain.com, but I would like to have a www.spanish.mydomain.com and www.english.mydomain.com... I've been looking everywhere but I dont find the way to do it.

- As you guessed, I want subdomains to have different versions for different languages, and because of that I would need to use different templates (or rather, different versions of the same template, one for each language). Is that possible to make here?

...and maybe you have other suggestions regarding a multilanguage site apart from the subdomains thing.

Hi Anastasia,

If you have a domain purchased from Yola you can create subdomains using the Advanced Domain Settings and setting up A Records. You can find more information on this link: Creating subdomains with your Yola-bought domain.

Please let me know if this suits your needs or if you need any further help implementing it.

Hi Anastasia. I suggest you don't have www. in front of a sub domain. Because www. is technically a sub domain (but stands for world wide web) and if you have that in front of a sub domain, it wouldn't look that nice. All I'm saying is hat this is how a sub domain should look: spanish.mydomain.com Just a suggestion. Also, you should be able to create a sub domain with your domain registrar. I suggest you contact your domain registrar (i.e. godaddy). if you don't know how to do this. If you bought your domain from Yola, use Laura's suggestion.

I hope this helps you!
