Unfortunately, I am probably a bit naive and a novice to the setting up of a website and although my site has now been published, I have no idea how I can access any e-mails that I may have been sent!! Can anyone help a novice please? Rick

Hi Rick

The tutorials that David has linked, is a good place to start.

If you have signed up with Yola through one of the Google business programs such as Get Your Business Online or Getting British Business Online, you will be able to use Google Apps to get your email address associated with your domain. Have a look at this tutorial for more details: Setting up your email with Google Apps.

Let us know if you need any further assistance.

Hi Nazlie

Thank you for your response. It may be that i'm complicating matters, so if I explain my situation, it may make it easier.

I have set up the website wandagardenservices.co.uk and this has been published to the web.

On the "Contact Us" page of the site, I have given the e-mail address of info@wandagardenservices.co.uk, but having done so, I suddenly thought "How will I know if anyone has sent an e-mail?" and if they had "How do I access them?"

Obviously, they are not going to be received in my yahoo or hotmail accounts, so where are they going to be received?

I've now set up a Yola mail account, but again, how do I access it?

I hope you can help! Many thanks

Rick

Unfortunately not Sanja. The tutorial says to log into my Yola account and "click on Yola Mail on the left hand side"

There is no Yola Mail on the left hand side or indeed, anywhere!!

What now?

Forgive me for stating the obvious but logging into your Yola account refers to the sitebuilder not your mail account.

And please forgive me for being a novice and a little naive, but I am accessing the sitebuilder and still there is no Yola Mail on the left hand side.

I have now paid for a Yola e-mail account and so I hope you un derstand my frustration at not being able to access it.

Hello Rick,

It appears that you have signed up through our Get British Business Online program.

Unfortunately, Yola Mail is not available to GBBO users and the fact that you were able to purchase it was an error on our part. Going forward we will be offering an exciting Google Apps based custom mail solution, however until this time you can take advantage of the free Google Apps service.

You will be able to register the same domain level email address (e.g., info@yourdomainname.com) using Google Apps. To set up your free domain email using Google Apps please see this tutorial: Setting up your email with Google Apps. You may also find this tutorial helpful to set up your email with Google Apps: Add Business Email to your GBBO Site in 15 Minutes.

The terms and conditions set forth by the GBBO program excludes the use of Yola Mail. Please note, this is a rule put forth by Google, not Yola, and we are bound by our partnership with them to enforce this. We take full responsibility for the fact that you were able to purchase Yola Mail. It was an error within our system and we are very sorry for the frustration and inconvenience it has caused you.

If you could provide us with the steps that you took to purchase Yola Mail it would be greatly appreciated. This will help us to implement a fix for future customers.

I am referring your inquiry to our Payments department as they will be canceling and refunding your Yola Mail in the next 48 hours. Please ensure you have cleared out any necessary emails you would like to keep before this time.

Hi Rick,

I have refunded and removed Yola Mail from your account. The refund will be credited to you within a few days so please let me know if it doesn't appear.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Thanks,

Hi Sanja

Thanks for the message, but I really am struggling now!

I've gone into Google Apps and when they've asked for my domain name, i've entered it, but then i'm being told that the domain is registered and is awaiting ownership verification and I can get no further than that!

what now?!!

Hello Rick,

It sounds like you've already set up a Google Apps account for your domain. To login and administer your Google Apps account (verify your domain and setup email addresses), you would click on this link: https://www.google.com/a/wandagardens.... Once verified and setup, you will be able to access your mail on this link: http://mail.google.com/a/wandagardens....

If you need specific help with Google Apps, here is a link to the Google Apps Support Center: http://www.google.com/support/a?hl=en.
