Hello Seaview Flowers,

I am sorry you are having this problem.

Are you linking them using the text widget? Could you please try adding a link to one of the images at a time and then update your site and see if the changes go live.

If this doesn't solve your problem, please let me know. Could you also let me know what browser and version you are using.

Many thanks for working with us on this.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I'm selecting the image then clicking on the Link button where I can chose an internal or external link. I have done each image individually but it doesn't seem to work.

I'm using Windows XP on Internet Explorer.

Hi Seaview Flowers

We have just tested the icons on your Products page and are able to create the links. Please click on "Preview" in the menu and test the "Candles" icon.

If you are still unable to create the links, please try using a different browser such as Firefox. You can download it here and install it on your computer.

If the problem persists, please let us know.

Thank you
Nazlie

I'm still lost on this one I'm afraid.
The buttons are showing up correctly but the link doesn't seem to be there if the Product button is clicked - this is once the website has been published also.
If this cannot show up on Internet Explorer then i cannot use this. I need it to be compatible for everyone.

If i apply one link to the first button, then the second button automatically uses the same one. Strange.

Hi, Seaview Flowers,

It looks like you have text copied and pasted from MS Word onto your site. When you copy and paste rich text directly from MS Word (or another word processor) onto your site, this brings along a whole lot of unwanted formatting that is not web friendly and can easily break your page and such formatting problems as you are experiencing. The best alternative is first to paste your text into NotePad (in the accessories folder of your computer) and then paste it as plain text onto your Yola page. You can then use the Yola text editor to format your text as desired.

Please note that this would be the case with any browser-based text editor you might use, not just Yola. It is a universal website building problem. It's also always a good idea to keep a copy of your text in a .txt file from Notepad so that you have a backup copy kept on your PC. The solution in this case is to delete the existing text and then re-add it to your page following the steps above.

You can also use this Text Editor: http://www.html101.yolasite.com to format and spell check your text and strip out MS Word code. It will generate valid markup which you can safely paste into the Yola Sitebuilder.
