Hi Joe,

For Ecwid to calculate Shipping costs each product must have a weight included.

First create the necessary destination zone. "Online Store → Advanced Settings → System Settings → Zones". For example if you ship to the UK only, create a new zone and add the United Kingdom to it.
If you are not shipping out of the UK then it's important not to have any destination zones other than the UK.
Then go to the "Shipping → User defined methods" page.
Create a shipping method.
This rate should have "per order" cost of £4.75.

Did you steal some bread or are you there for life?

This may be because of the sitebuilder at the moment. I'm having huge lags currently.
So you are in Shipping/Carrier-calculated Methods.

Just Click on Zones above that and create a new Zone and call it UK.

.
Then Select Add Country.→ Scroll right down to united Kingdom and select the left hand side box. →Scroll right to the end and select Add Countries. that's the zone created (but it will also include Northern Ireland for your information and I think postage would be more than the £4.75)

Now select Shipping again.
Select User-defined Methods. Click on that and you will be in the correct Shipping tab. Give your new shipping method a new title. eg: Local UK

Then add your £4.75 into "per order" cost.

If the Northern Ireland aspect is an issue then you can create a new zone for Northern Ireland similarly and a new shipping charge for Northern Ireland. Please make sure that you don't include any countries that you don't want to ship to as these will be included in the schedule.

555 (Thai for laughter: 5 is pronounced Ha!)

You did add a weight to each product?
Are you using PayPal Express (or Google Checkout)? (Both these won't show shipping charges initially but will come back after the person signs on)

We'll work it out I'm sure.
