My layout is set as 1 over 2. How do I add another full width widget below the 2 column section?

I was afraid to change the layout, but maybe I need to do that first?
Thanks, yola.

You are going to create a page as u need.
That is possible.

First , create a new page.
Choose a blank one in layout field which placed upper left corner of site builder.

Drop a 2 coloumn widget to page.
Drop the samd widget to the right coloumn.
There will be 3 coloumns.

If u need another set of coloumns , just put a 2 col. Widget to the bottom of 1 st one.
Examples are below.

Hi Margie,

Just to confirm what Ayesh is saying, it might be best for you to maybe choose another layout and use the "2 Column Widget" creatively.

For instance, you can drop a 2 Column widget beneath a full text widget, and then drag another full-sized text widget below the 2 Column widget.. That would give you the visual effect of a "1 over 2 over 1" layout- if that makes sense.

Margie, I also had this a few times and discovered once chosen, the layouts are sometimes a pain, when one decides to change what one wants regarding columns etc. I have just had to do also - so I renamed the page (so that I kept the original one intact - just in case!) and then changed the layout on the new renamed page, then dragged each text box or column divider to the place I wished them to be. It takes a while sometime to reset the page, but easier than having to start all over again. Then 'saved page as' and replaced the original page.
Does this make sense? JenC

Am sorry. That method do not works.
In my view , that is a very risky place in yola. If you've lost the index.Php page, that means u lost.
Thus ,
you can't overite an existing page using another page.

Here is a safe way to do.

Open your original page.
Create the new layout on top of the existing widgets. Then, add 2 coloumn layouts and design your new page's bones on top of old.
Then , drag and drop the widgets to the places.

If you've any difficulties , press F11 key to maximize window.
If trouble presists , use the method below.
Click on the text widget and select some text. The text edit toolbar will appear. Click on the "html" button and copy all the code. , then , paste it in the new text box's html editor.
