Hi Lynn,

There are many players available, here's how to use one in our Widgetbox Gallery:-

How to add the widget - basic steps:
1. Drag and drop a Widgetbox Gallery widget onto your page
2. A dialogue box will open, click on the Audio category or search for music
3. Choose the player that you would like to use on your site
4. Click on the Settings button (looks like a tool!) on the left to edit your settings
5. Click on the green 'Get Widget' button and it will be saved and added to your page

If you want to play your own music (that you've uploaded onto your site), these are the steps to take with the Google Audio widget (as an example):
1. Upload the mp3 or music file you would like to play on your page onto your SynthaSite by using the File Manager button at the top of your page
2. In the Widgetbox dialogue, once you have selected the Google Audio widget, click on Settings
3. Change the url to something like:
where 'mysite' is the name of your published site
and filename.mp3 is the name of the music file you've uploaded and would like to hear

Hope that helps!

If your site is published to and that's where you would like to hear the music, then the URL for your mp3 should be Remember to upload the mp3 file using the File Manager!

Hi Lynn

If none of these suggestions give you what you want, you can add any music player by copying the HTML embed code and pasting it into the HTML editor in SynthaSite (drag and drop an HTML widget onto your page and paste the code in the dialog box that opens up.

My website has a page with some code you can copy for a great little music player, and instructions on how to add it, and where to host your music to use on it for free, on this link:
Look on the right hand side of the page about halfway down. There is also a music player on the page so you can see what it looks and sounds like. Hope this helps you...
Good Luck, Sal
