Is there a way to superimpose a picture on top of a stock banner?

Hello Dennis,

There are a number of ways to approach.

  1. You could manipulate the stock banner image in an image manipulation program like Photoshop; Gimp; Pixlr etc. make your composite image and save it to your file manager. Use this then as your banner image.

  2. If the super-imposed image is to be a logo and if there's a page heading within the banner then by using some HTML you can place the image in the heading position with text as well if you wish.

  3. Finally you can add the image into an image widget as the first entry on your page then by adjusting the "margin" settings. By using negative number in the margin facility you can move this up to where you want it in your banner. This will superimpose the image into your banner.
