Adding a subject line with an email link would be great.

If would be nice on the link where you add an email, to have the option to add Subject that will feed the email subject line so that you know exactly where that email came from. I saw someone provided an example of coding something, but when I tried it - it didn't work. If it was as easy as asking for a subject line at the time of the email link - it would be easy for a novice to do.

Hello Karen,

So.. based on what you've written, it sounds like you wish to have a Subject line automatically filled out when your visitor clicks on your email link? Is this correct?

Here's a code that one my colleagues was able to dig up for you:

<a href="mailto:emailname@yourdomain.com?subject=Subject You Selected">The text of your link</a>

Please replace the "emailname@yourdomain.com" with your email address and "Subject you selected" with the Subject line you wish to have. Finally, replace the "The text of your link" with the text your want your visitors to see and click on.

I hope that helps!

Hi Sanja -

That would be correct , to have it as an option on the Link associated with email.

Thank you for the code though - I will go into the HTML and add this.
