Hello Penny,
That URL does not look like it is published to a Yola built website. Is there possibly a typo in it?

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Hello,
Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately it is not possible to add widgets to the area where the navigation is as this is set by the style to be reserved for navigation pages. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you on that.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Hi Emmy
Thank you for the information, I've added it differently but thought I could override CSS styles to change style? I did this with the navigation bar.

Hi Penny,
I'm actually not sure if this can be done with CSS. I am going to forward this to our HTML team to take a look at it. They may be able to offer some suggestions on how to make that work.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Hello Penny,

Thanks for your patience. I am one of the members on the HTML Team. Emmy is, unfortunately, correct. I don't believe there is a way to accomplish this unless you decide to create your own vertical menu. You could try a style like "SqueakyClean", hide the default menu, and then create your own vertical menu using Text Links or Picture Links. Then, you can add your Google Translate code underneath.

I'm sorry that I don't have an easier way to do this. Perhaps one of our champs or our forum members might have a suggestion.

Hi, Penny,

Are you trying to do something like this?

Add the following code in your Site CSS:

div.sys_google_translate .goog-te-gadget{position: absolute; top: 300px; margin-left: -185px; color:inherit;}

You will need to make adjustments to the numbers 300 and -185 to make it fit under your menu. Also, you will need to delete the heading for the Google Translate Widget as it will not move over. Click on "Edit" in the upper left corner of the widget and delete the heading. Click OK. Be sure to save and publish.

Please let me know how this goes.
