I want to add a selection to my website menu that does not link to another page on my site, but rather to an external link. Is this possible?

Hi Haus

Thanks for this question. Right now that feature is not available, but I can see how it would be useful, so perhaps this is something we can work on.

A helping and very practical solution: just put a html-widget on your page and copy this into it: "meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="2; url=http://www.yourwanteddomain.com" with a < before and > after (I cannot do it here because it does not display right)
where 2 is the amount of seconds waiting to redirect. You can also put the number zero (0) - then it goes directly. I tried it out and it works!

Hi Guys

We really love it when people share tips with each other. That is what this forum is all about. "Less of Monique and more of you guys" Is what I say!

So keep up the great work floxoip and Haus - we need more people like you.

Here is a trick if you want to share code and get it to display right in Get Satisfaction

<!--
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="2;url=http://webdesign.about.com">
-->

The <! -- and the -- > stop Get Satisfaction from interpreting the code. Just remember to leave those bits out when you add the code for real in SynthaSite.

Cheers
Monique
