Adding PayPal to Yola

Our website has been organized into separate categories ie. 'Silver Jewellery' 'Handbags' etc. We would like to add the PayPal option to each individual item but we can only create a PayPal 'Buy Now' button to a margin underneath the item, not next to the item itself. Once this has been done, that particular item keeps appearing on the bottom of every page, including incorrect categories and other items. What can we do to prevent this happening? How do we add a PayPal button to the items we wish to sell, correctly?

Hi Cheryl,

The PayPal widget "buy now" and "PayPal Product Catalogue" are fairly rigid wrt layout. You may have better luck with a semi-custom widget on the PayPal site itself.

I would recommend that you look at an online store. The Ecwid store is customised for integration with Yola sites and is available as a monthly or annual subscription. If you only have a few items then the native Ecwid store is your cheaper option as this allows free subscription for up to 100 items and is essentially fully fledged and free for life. If you cross the 100 items then the Yola customised version is your cheaper option with a significant value adding with your subscription .

Hi Cheryl,

As Gop mentioned, I definitely suggest taking a look at the Ecwid store.

Although the PayPal buttons are quite limited, we do have a tutorial that deals with adding custom PayPal buttons:, which you may find helpful.
