I am a newly started non profit org. using yola silver wanted to know if there is a way of putting a "thank you" letter or "fund raising " letter in my yola mail so that I can just add a name and address from my contacts on my yola web mail? Maybe I'm asking in the wrong place???

Hello kathy,

There are a number of facilities for bulk mailing like this. You can add addresses to the mailing list and either selectively send mailings to some or send them globally.

You don't need to spend very much time and effort managing the mailing lists and the send outs this way. Mail Chimp is a facility highly regarded, offering both free and a large range of subscription deals.

Constant Contact is another facility offered as a widget within the sitebuilder but fairly expensive. It has good credentials.

A cheap flexible option way is to use a desktop mail facility with a mailmerge facility (eg: Outlook with MS Word). You create the body of the letter, merge in the recipent data and send it out through your desktop POP or IMAP client configured to your Yola mail. You can use your mail address list on your desktop or in the Cloud and allows you to do so with minimum fuss.

You can create a database of recipients by storing the recipient details automatically if they send you a message through a form, such as Jotform, embedded in your site.
