Adding Youtube clips to blog with html code

I have a blog page at my site at www.Britsal.net/ , the blog link is http://www.britsal.net/journal.php
I have a prolem posting the embedded videos from youtube on the blog there using the html code ( I adaprt this to a smaller size to fit on the blog postings ). In fact I have had to go through my blog this morning deleting the filmclips from there, and adding a clickable link instead.
What happens is, for example, on a Monday I will add a film clip say of a funny dog. On Tuesday, I go to add one, maybe this time of a cat,and all that shows up is Mondays clip of the dog, not the new clip I have added. I have double checked that the code is right, but always it shows the older clip. Any ideas what might cause this? I am sorry I had to delete the clips on there for now so it will be hard for you to see what I mean, so hope I have explained it okay. Many get my feed through feedburner every day, so obviously I would like this problem sorted so it looks good for my readers.
Thank you.
Sally.

Hi Sally,

I am sorry you are experiencing this problem. From what I understand, you post a new video every day, using the HTML code but I am not sure if you are adding a new video to the page or just replacing the previous day's code? I am not able to see any YouTube links on: http://www.britsal.net/journal.php - are they on another page?

Based on your explanation though, the first thing that comes to mind is that your videos are being cached on your side, which is what is causing you not to be able to see the newer videos that you are adding the code for.

My first suggestion is that you clear your cache (you can learn more about how to do this here: http://www.google.com/support/account.... If this doesn't work, please let us know.

Hello BritSAL,

I have been looking at the page looking for what the problem could be and I see that there is text copy and pasted from Microsoft Word which can definitely cause problems on the page. I would suggest that the best thing to do would be to remove the text and paste it into a plain text editor such as Notepad and then take it into the Sitebuilder from there.

Can you possibly add the videos to your pages so that we can take a look at this with you.

Hi Emmy, I have added two there now and will leave until Morning ( I dont want them to go out on my Feedburner feed ). You can see the bee gees one doesnt show, just a repeat of the relaxation video.
If I posted a different one later, it would also be a copy of the relaxation video.
I never use a word processor to add anything to the journal there. I always type directly into the text box.

Ahhh initially it had 2 relaxation videos. I just went to the page five minutes later, and the problem corrected itself. Did Yola do this or has the problem resolved itself?

Hi BritSAL,

Glad to hear it has been sorted. Nope, we didn't do anything on our end. It sounds like all that was needed was a bit of time. I believe that Justine may have nailed it with your computer storing the video in your cache. Certainly let us know if it appears wrong again.

Cheers!
