All Yola Charges (Everything)

I'm about to set up my own website, and I know it's free for a set amount of time, but I am confused about how many different charges there may be in the future.

What kind of charges am I looking at?

I am in the UK and this will be the first time I have ever tried to set up a website, or anything close. So I have no idea what I'm doing/talking about lol and I'm worried I may end up with a huge bill when it comes to renewing. I'm not expecting anything for free, but any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated

Many Thanks

Hi Kirsty,

Hope you decide to hop onboard.

Yola has no hidden charges at all. The account you sign up for is free.

You can create 2 websites for free and publish them for free, according to Yola, forever if you wish. These websites are called sub-domain websites. they have a name that you choose the first part of and that is added to so that your site(s) in this case would be and (these names are simply to illustrate the explanation)

If you decide to move up in sophistication with various facilities you can subscribe to these for a well documented price. Most pay for add ons are an annual subscription but there are no charges that you don't explicitly sign up for. The prices are at the lower to middle end within the industry and the common add on like custom domains eg: are very cheap.

So in summary you can expect a free account. ie. no payment at all if you choose.

At the moment in the UK Kirsty, there is a program sponsored by your government and in partnership with Yola and I think Google, to get British businesses on line. (GBBO) and this is a great program, but the details I am not so familiar with. It's probably worth your while doing a Google search and see if there's anything in that program that is relevant or interesting to you.
