Alternative solution for some PHP scripts

One of the most advanced features of PHP scripts is include() function, which is very important for a Web site with hundreds of pages. With this feature, webmasters wouldn't waste their time over editing each of the hundreds of pages when changes are necessary. I believe, there are ways out there for the Yola developers to solve this problem.

Nevertheless, 10 points for Yola! ;-)

Yeah! I wish Yola could come up with some kind of a solution for this problem - since I, myself have over 1, 500 pages and it would take me considerably lots of time to edit every page for a change!

Thanks Oculus and TheNextKira for your posts.

We're aware that people who use Yola would like a way to apply global or universal changes to their site. The first things that come to my mind are things like Google Analytics and banner images, as an example. Feel free to let us know what other specific areas you would like to see included in this kind of feature. I'd like to find out more detail from you on this particular function!

Well, yes, one of them that should be considered is editing the script for Google Analytics or the StatCounter, which are usually used by most webmasters. In my case, I've just done with a major revamp for our Web site and it really took a few days for me to have this site reconstructed due to manual modifying of banner images, customized menu, customized footer, etc. Well, through those days of revamping our site, I think there should be added boxes in the Yola sitebuilder's side bar, where you can type in your desired or preferred script or codes for additional META TAGS and LINK TAGS. In this way, it would be easier for the webmaster to control the entire Web site with those tags in one page only of the sitebuilder. But, I think, it will depend on the choice of the webmaster to have his entire Web site controlled by those tags so there should be two options for this: (1) Apply this tag for all Web pages. (2) Apply this tag for Web page(s) selected by the radio button. (Then, below should all Web pages' filenames appear.) That's all for now; I'd be happy to hear others' ideas and/or their suggestions. ;-)

Well one of the most improtant ones should be giving us the option of adding a banner to the whole website with one just one click or something similiar. (I know this feautre will be provided in the next yola upate/release)

One also other important one is with coming up with a better solution for adding ads to our website. I think most webmasters, don't include an ad on their website when they first create their website.... so I think it would be bettter if yola made it easier for us to add ads to our website. Consider having a 100+ pages site, adding an html code to each page is a pain.

Editing our titles for each page is also really hard using yola. By titles I mean a title that appears on the header. I know I had to manually change them each time, which took me a couple of weeks believe it or not (I have a 1, 500+ page site). Like, if we had an option of giving one 'header' title/or not giving one at all (deleting all the header titles) for the eniter website would be tottally amazing.

Everything on the properties tab (tags, keywords, description, "header" title (imporatant one)....etc) should apply to the whole website if the webmaster chooses to.

ps: sorry for any spelling/grammar mistakes, I wrote thisat 4 in the morning.
