Hello guys,

I need the code to create links from one page to another page with anchor text please.
I have attempted to use a name code under H2 headings and then created links to the anchor text from another page using the html widget, but it doesn't seem to work.
I keep getting 404 errors, any help would be great.

Hi John,

The 404 error could indicate that the URL you are using is incorrect - there might be a typo in the URL, or the page may no longer exist. Could you let me know whether you have followed the steps below, when you added your anchor links?

  1. Drag and drop an HTML Widget (it looks like a blue sphere) onto the page you want to link from. Add this code to the HTML Widget: <a href="mypage.php#anchor">link</a> (with "mypage" being the page you want to link to). Click "Save."

  2. On the page you want to link to, drag and drop another HTML Widget to the area you want the link to jump to and add this code to it: <a name="anchor"></a> Click "Save."

Your link on the first page will then link to the area you added the code to. Here is a link to a tutorial that explains how to add anchor links to your page in more detail: Anchor text.

If you are still getting errors, please let me know!
