If you need support from Yola please contact us via email@example.com or make use of our live chat service! We are working on a new approach to community-based support and during this transition period we are not adding any new threads to this forum. Many thanks to everyone who has participated over the years and we look forward to unveiling a new peer-to-peer support system soon!
Previously there was an HTML editing button on the text formatting ribbon but it is no longer there. I was hoping that Yola had introduced an Anchor widget but I cannot find one. I need to edit the html on a page in order to insert an anchor to a section on the same page - help please?
The new text widget doesn't currently support anchor links. However, we are working on making this option available. Do you still have access to the old text widget in your account? If so you can use this widget for your anchor links. The only other alternative at the moment is to use an HTML widget.
We understand the importance of this feature and look forward to releasing a solution that will meet your requirements.
Monique, I know how to edit and insert the required html to create the anchor and link however, if I try to use the Site CSS facility, I cannot edit the html and, if I use the HTML widget (which would be perfect!) I lose the formatting of my text.... Could you advise me?
Oops, have just played around with this but it wont work as I cannot insert the html text into the paragraph where I need the anchor to be :-( I really do need to be able to do this - is there some way around it?
