hi, can someone please show me how to put an anchor in an exact place on a page and link to it from another page,step by step please ,I tried the yola tutorials but it isnt working for me well I dont understand it to be truthful, many thanks.
If you are wanting to have an anchor link open to a specific area on a different page you can do so as follows:
1. Drag and drop a HTML widget (it looks like a blue sphere) onto the page you want to link from. Add this code to the HTML widget
<!-- <a href="mypage.php#anchor">link</a> -->
(with "mypage being the page you want to link to).
2. On your page you want to link to, drag and drop another HTML widget to the area you want the link to jump to and add this code to it.
<!-- <a name="anchor"></a> -->
Your link on the first page will then link to the area you added the code to.
Please ignore <!-- and -->, those are there to stop the code from being interpreted in this post.
