Any problems going on with the published sites?

Funny website weather I'm having...

Just wondering... Earlier it was acting buggy and slooooow and so I removed some flash and that didn't fix it then I removed some other widgets and still buggy then I check now and there is intermittent bugginess with a chance of seeing the site is unavailable image.

I have had the published site missing the left and right side (of the style) images then the banner all together goes funky with the image missing and then every other image on the site vanishes.

Please tell me that I am not the only one to see it. Just checked some other sites and they too are having a bad website weather day...

I'll go and get the umbrella and a cup of coffee...

Happy site building
Ed

Hi Ed,

Thanks for bringing this up. I am happy to assure you that myself, Laura and Sanja have all managed to open your site properly! We did notice image errors for just a few brief minutes.

It appears that everything is working properly again.

Cheers,
Brianna

Okay so it's back up but slower than a snail in FF but faster in IE which is usually the opposite... Safari and Chrome are still missing every other image and slower than usual.

Odd that IE seems to like the way it is and the best out of the four with fresh cookies/cache.

Hey Ed,

We just tested your site on all browsers (FF, Safari, Chrome, IE) and had no difficulties opening it. Any chance you're seeing an improvement on your end?

Thanks!

Thanks and yeah I am, the sound effects on my buttons and banner shield finally returned to normal so there's that. LOL

You all know me... I don't jump the gun "ever" and scream the sky is falling but boy was this one buggy. I wish that I had the piece of mind to take a screenshot but wowzer did it freak out...

If it had been on only one browser that would be different but all 4 had some issues with the site and I went so far as to delete some things on my site thinking that it was just the site but nada.

In all four browsers the banner was okay some of the loads and not there in others, The style's side border images were gone all together for 10 minutes while the top and bottom borders were fine, then the banner you could see through to the back background. Sometimes the menu would only load half way and you would see one of the buttons cut in two. Now that is funny because it is one imagemap of all the buttons and the swing combined. some of the images would just disappear like say for example the two mouse over buttons with the bee and the 30%off. The bee button was gone while the other was fine then two of the four smaller images on top of the large one were gone and a little something was in its place (don't remember what the smaller image was" Then the upper left tree branch would be gone while the right side was fine. Then a few minutes later the right would be gone too. Then the text from the bottom of the page covered the banner while the page loaded.

It may have been a momentary (10+ min) glitch in the system but man did it give me a heart racing freak out. I checked a few of the other sites that I knew and many had issues as well. Some of my pages with no codes or HTML on them had the Yola page holder image on them saying come back in a few minutes. Now this tells me that it is not some errant code on my pages as these pages that had none were affected as well. There was defiantly a downpour and it was not a pretty sight. (for me)

It all seems to be back up to normal so no worries. I just hope that it isn't a sign of something ominous coming.

Thanks for your double checking. I just wish that I had the screen captures to show you.

Off topic... Did my site load and play well for you on your computer? How did it look? I am just trying to de-bug the looks and any screen captures would be greatly appreciated... Thanks. ;)

Hey Ed

Here is a screenshot on FF - unfortunately I am not able to get the whole screen due to your Flash elements - it does not seem to come up on the full screenshots. I hope that helps a bit though!

Yes it does Littleyou(us) The more screenshots that I see the better it becomes.

It is especially difficult to design a website that goes beyond the boundaries of the style border and looks good in every screen resolution. Sadly those who see my site with their resolution set the lowest will not see it all but I had to weigh the options and I wanted a fun and cartoon-esk website that the kids and parents would both enjoy. So... I designed a bit out of the box. I see from your screenshot that I need to edit the honey on the top corners to make them rounded on the inner sides so that I can drop them down 10 pixels making them dribble down onto the page more instead of sitting flat on top like they are. I am so glad that I made those with a transparency so that you can see through them. Boy that looks cool.

Your screenshot also reminds me that I need to return the interactive bee on the bottom of the page as I took it off earlier.

Thanks girl and have a super night... Maybe you can let your little ones look at it and tell me what they would add to the site. I have honey bee games in the works.
