Hi Callum,

If the new site has been saved on the same name then it is gone, I'm afraid.
If the changes haven't been saved then you can revert back.

You are best to use separate sub-domains for developmental work and then when and if you wish to publish to a custom domain, then you select your choice and publish that one. Your subdomains don't have to be published to retain them if you use different file names.

Hello Callum,

I think this is the code that is affecting the appearance.
#sys_banner
{
height: 95px;
background-image: url(resources/banner_white0.jpg.cropped1341x138o-205%2C-111s3371x338.jpg);
background-position: bottom left;
padding-left: 40px;
padding-top: 45px;
}

There's 2 pieces that you can play around with:

The height
the padding-top.

Try to reduce one of these at a time and see what the effect is. Please take this slowly and methodically. hate to see you lose it or get confused that you would need to rebuild...from scratch :(

Can you tell me if you are using Yola Silver subscription or Free or Bronze. ?

Plus if you can tell me what style you are using?

I played around with it in the meantime and by using these :

#sys_banner
{
height: 10px;
background-image: url(resources/banner_white0.jpg.cropped1341x138o-205%2C-111s3371x338.jpg);
background-position: bottom left;
padding-left: 40px;
padding-top: 0px;
}

I got this:

Drag an HTML widget to the top of your page.

Paste this code into the HTML widget
<style type="text/css">
#sys_banner
{
height: 10px;
background-image: url(resources/banner_white0.jpg.cropped1341x138o-205%2C-111s3371x338.jpg);
background-position: bottom left;
padding-left: 40px;
padding-top: 0px;
}
</style>

You will need to do this for each page with Bronze.

You can probably delete the reference to the background url by replacing that line: background-image: none

My suggestion Callum is take away 3 of them. Too many choices which is an oxymoron I know, but I find it confusing because I don't want to go around looking at why there are 4. I just want bang. I'm there :) That's just an opinion so please feel free to ignore/criticise it if you wish.

As far as alternative placement the closer to the top the more noticeable it becomes. It's a rule of thumb that the most valuable real estate appears at the lines of a capital letter "E" in each view (make sense?), but the top view has a higher penetration I am told than lower scroll down views. It's best to keep your page scroll to an absolute minimum when you wish people to home in on important information.
