Hello! What type of browser do you have? Also, can you clear your cache and see if that helps? Also, what is your site's URL?

Sincerely,
Nathan

Hi,

Ta for the reply, cleared my Firefox 3.6 cache.

Same problem, the upload button in File Manager is blank.

I have only just started tinkering with Yola and therefore have not published the site yet so have no web address/url, proposed name, is Martin Garden Contracts Ltd.

Also very new to Linux(month) and completely new to Web build.

Regards

Nathan

Hi Nathan! I am sorry to hear that this is happening and that it did not work. Could you post a screen shot? If you have a Windows 7, you can use a cool tool called snipping tool. To get this, just search start menu for "snipping tool" and then click it, you will then be able to click and then drag around the box to the area you want and it will lighten the part that is selected. Then let go of your mouse button and it should pop up and you can highlight parts and draw stuff with the pen. If you have a Mac, just hold down these keys: Command + Shift + 4 and then drag around the area you want to take a screen shot of. It will then save to the desktop.

Sincerely,
Nathan

Hi, to take a screen shot on Linux, go to this: Applications —> Accessories —> Take Screenshot.

Hello Nathan

I'm sorry to hear that you're having this trouble with uploading your images. When you say that it's "blank" - do you mean that you are not able to access your files on your computer? Is it possible for you to send us a screenshot so that can see what's going on?

I unfortunately do not have a Linux - so I am unable to test this. I will need to ask a colleague to see if they can replicate this. However, the earliest we can get to this is tomorrow.

In the meantime, to help troubleshooting - can you please be sure to have your Flash and Java updated. Also, is it possible for you to try a different computer to see if that does make a difference?

Thank you for your patience as we work on this together.

Hi,

Have deleted and reinstalled flash as directed to in the above link, but still have the same problems, anyone else have ubuntu 10.04 and have the same problems? I do not have the same problems accessing files on my computer on webs.com, but i prefer Yola.

Hi Nathan

We are so sorry that you are still having trouble with your File Manager.

If you use the Linux operating system, you may experience a few problems on Yola. Our engineers are aware of this but no fixes are scheduled at this time. We do not test the Yola Sitebuilder in a Linux environment and therefore cannot give you adequate support for it.

We can only suggest that you try using an alternative browser; make sure your browser and settings are up-to-date or try a different OS.

Thank you
Nazlie

Hi Nathan,

We're certainly sorry to see you go but understand your decision completely as we are not currently set up to support your operating system.

I hope to see Linux support in the future but with so many different distributions available it is very difficult to QA and support well, so it is not something we can accommodate at present.

That's really bad luck Nathan. You certainly gave it your best shot and it couldn't work.

I hope that Yola can accommodate the less common systems out there in time and I hope that they are able to get the messages out in a timely fashion. It would be good to have you back if and when this system works with Yola.

Hi Nathan Baish, I am so sorry this happened. I hope that it works with Linux in the future because Yola is an awesome website builder! =)
