Hello, I winder if anyone can help or point me in the right direction - we are a EPOS and stockcontrol software provider and have a potential client who is using the YOLA platform and requesting integration to our solution. Is there an API program or does the YOLA e-commerce system interface use flat files (i.e. .csv type data) which could be exchanged via an FTP-based routine?

Many Thanks

Hello Dave,

The Ecwid e-com facility allows for transmission of files on purchase. These can be stored on their server and on purchase or authorisation can be made available through a key. This key can be time locked, try locked or number of downloads controlled. The actual transmission protocol I don't know. The file(s) transfer is one way: Ecwid to customer.

The Yola platform by itself doesn't allow for direct management of this kind plus there are no secure facilities with Yola websites. The third party, Ecwid, manages all of this in this instance. There are other digital e-com facilities which can be used on a Yola site and these are all third party additions.
