I have music playing on my home page but I'd like to play throughout the entire site, no matter which page a person is on. Is there a way to do this without putting a widget on every single page?

Hello Paula

It is not possible to have music play throughout your site without stopping as people browse from page to page. You would need to add music to each page of the site, and the music would start over from page to page. Unfortunately this is how it has to be, I'm sorry I don't have the answer you were looking for.

Here is a link to some information on adding music to your site: Adding Music to Site.

I hope this information is helpful!

You have to make a music player which opens in a new window - that way the user can set the music going and then come back to the site.

I have an example here on a unfinised site

Click the 'music player' link -- in your situation you could just have whatever your using now on your home page to open up in a little window - 99% of internet users will understand how to return to your site.

Thats the only way 'i think' that it can be done.

If you want the code for this little browser window let me know.

No worries, that is what I thought the answer would be. Actually I'd rather not have music on all web pages. I created a slide show and have it only on the slide show page. It works out nicely. Thanks!

Another trick is to build every page on one page and then just use anchors to move up or down the page. Because you never leave the page, the music plays on!

For websites which ignore SEO, you can embed a hidden/shown swf player in top/bottom of page and render other pages in iframes.
This trick is widely used in blogger.(I didn't mean music).
Their top navbar and the rest are separate 2 iframes.
