Are there any website view counters that are legal and free?

I have a fairly new site that I made for a program that I'm in using Yola. Very easy and handy, thank you (though the advertisement is a little annoying but it's good enough, yes, I have free version right now and I'm so grateful there's no more advertisements and stuff. Just that little Yola thing which... isn't SO bad). I was wondering if there was any way to get a free, legal, no-download, no virus, etc. website view counter that will just count how many views I've gotten. I saw places like Google Analytics but I don't want all that information and stuff (I also think that's kind of private and for their sake as well, I'm not going to use it) I just want something that will ONLY count how many views the site has had. Is there such a thing?? Sorry if I'm a bother! Thank you SO much!!!!!

Thanks for your email. We are glad to hear that you are enjoying your web building with Yola so far. Yola offers site traffic statistics, here's how to see the stats:

1. Log in to your Yola account.
2. Click on 'Site traffic' in the menu on the left-hand side.
3. You will see a graph which shows you the number of visitors to your site per day.

If you have a free Yola account, you will be able to view the total number of visits over the past 7 days. If you have a Bronze or Silver account, you will be able to view the total number of visits and unique visitors by day over the last 30 days.

If you are looking to add a hit counter on your actual site, you can search for one using the Widgetbox Gallery in the sitebuilder. Please note that adding a hit counter to your site is easy, but not the most effective way to keep track of your site visitors.
