Are there designers out there who are using Yola to create sites for others? Can you download the site, and then have a way to expland the options and capabilities not in the current online software?

Hi KK,

This forum is setup so that users and Yola staff can help each other with setting up their Yola sites.Offering solutions to problems and debugging the occassionally inevitable glitches.

Of course anything new can feel a bit overwhelming. I really do suggest that you just take it one step at a time. Read the introductory tutorials. Get the vocabulary under your belt and walk slowly. It becomes understood fairly quickly.

You can't expect this to happen overnight but with yola it tends to happen faster than many online web-site builders.

You asked if the sites could be downloaded for off line work. This isn't possible with yola. The feature is an online builder which is very time efficient.

Hi KK,

Are you approaching this from a designer's perspective (to help build other people's sites for them) or, are you looking to get help from a designer to improve your site?

For my own sites...I have multiple sites to develop, and some on other systems I'd like to convert to Yola. I want the quality and complexity I can get on other systems with the ease of maintenance, evolution and quality of support I'm finding with Yola. Yola is wonderful...but I don't have time and aptitude to tackle some of the things like flash, drop down menus, custom backgrounds and headers, and other more advanced organizing features. I'd love to work with people who "do Yola" versus dreamweaver, joomla, etc.
What are your thoughts?

I recently launched a business designing websites for others using Yola. I'm not sure that I have the skill set you would require, but here is my web design website and another I made using Yola.

I hear that Yola is in the process of launching the Yola Experts program for designers, which should help consumers such as yourself find people who offer the services you're looking for. Good luck!
