How do i set a banner for all of the pages at the same time? Because it takes way to long to set a banner for all of your pages. ex You have to set a banner for your page then move on to another page then set the banner for that and on and on.

i think you have to load the banner one by one in every page. Probably others may have a good answer because in my own experience i can't find a way for this.

Hi Mo,

Grace is correct, at this time you need to add a banner for your pages individually, this allows you to add different banners to your pages. However, I will let the developers know that you are looking for an "apply to all" function.

I'm sorry I don't have a better solution for you at this time.

I hope they will add an "Apply to All" function, too, for the Banner. In checking around I found out that Tripod and Bravenet both offer this feature, if that helps to encourage the Developers here to create this option for us.

Thank you,

i think what a lot of people miss is the 'save as' function, This is very handy for copying styles and templates onto another page.

That is a great point Lee! Using the Save As function will save you from having to manually add any banners, backgrounds or special formatting you want each page to have. Thanks for pointing that out! LilyHFB, it is true that this would be a great feature to have, we will make sure our team is aware of this feature request!

Dear Emmy,

Could you list the steps on how to do this with the "Save As" Function, for us "newbies"?
Thank you!

Sincerely,

hi LillyHFB,
I know you asked emmy to explain but she might not be here at this moment, in the mean time i will try to explain.

Ok you design your home page - just how you want it.
Then instead of clicking new page go here and choose 'save page as'

Name the new page and choose if you want it in the main menu.
Now you have another page with the same banners etc.
All you have to do is delete the content and add new content

It saves you redoing everything - i have over 100 pages on my site - iam using this method to get them all styled the same

Let me know if this explains it.

an extra note - make sure you are happy with your intial design first then start replicating, any changes you make later will need applying to all of the pages 1 by 1.

Well now, I am so happy that I know this now and so sad that I didn't know this 4 months ago. Just when you think there is nothing left!

Lee, could you make a new post for this info, with proper tags and save it for later so that everyone who needs this will find it easily?

I'll give it a try. I will need then to go back through all of my pages, and recopy them with the new banner. I'm hoping that they will make a "apply to all pages" icon, too.

Thank you, Lee!

Hey all!

Yola now gives you the option to upload a different banner image on each page of your site, or apply the same banner image to all pages. To apply the banner image to all the pages on your site:

1. Click on "Edit Page Design", then click on "Banner Image" and "Apply to All Pages".
2. A dialog box will open asking you to confirm whether you would like to apply the change to all the pages on your site. Click on "Apply and Save" if you would like to go ahead.

This will apply the banner images to all of the pages of your site.

For more on how to personalize your style see our tutorial Personalize Your Style.
