After uploading a new image for my banner, I've lost my heading text. It's there but can't show it...any ideas/suggestions? (the image doesn't take up all the banner space)

Hi there,

It seems the reason why you are not able to see the title in your page header is because you have uploaded a custom banner. As a result, the default color of the font is blending into your banner area. There is a way to work around this issue but it would require you to do a little bit of HTML coding. You can change the default font color of page heading by carefully following these steps:

  • Go to the "Properties" tab.

  • In the box under "Page Heading", enter the font color code which would look like this:
    <font color="#5dc4d3">heading goes here</font>

  • Save and update your site.

  • *Replace the "5dc4d3" with the hex value number of the color you want. Please refer to our HTML Color Code Chart for web friendly colors. You should now see your page heading title.

    I hope this helps.

Thank you for the replies. I'll give that a go Jeremy.

John M - If I'm totally honest, I'm an absolute newbie to this. I haven't published it so can I assume you wouldn't be able to look at it? Also, I've previously purchased a domain name so unsure of how to eventually use that with this website that I'm building.

    Yours faithfully
    Absolutely clueless. :)
