Because Styles aren't consistent in the setup of banners then there isn't a single code that may effectively do this.

If you can tell me your Style I may be able to work on the structure and pull out the relevant code if you haven't made any alterations to the code itself?

Hello,

Place this code in an HTML widget on the page you wish to remove your banner.

<style type="text/css">
div#sys_banner {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
height: 0;
}

div.ys_banner_overlay {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
height: 0;
}
</style>

Yes there probably is but as you probably know then you would need to build a custom menu. You lose points with Google if there isn't a way to get to each section of your site from any page.

I am more than happy to give you the code.

I have worked on this and the best thing I can do so far is to cloak it, which means that it's there but can't be seen. This isn't a good thing to do either as Google doesn't like this strategy and can ban you from the index on such things. It's seen as deceptive.

Hello,

I have searched around for an answer to this specific question and can't locate anything specifically. The answers are in broad terms and negative and I can't see anything that tells me that it may be justified for certain needs. I just don't know.

I would like to see if anyone has a definitive answer for this if there is one. Hate to see your site penalised, meaning blacklisted from Google, for doing such a thing.

Do you wish to wait prudently or go ahead with this regardless?
