Good morning.

Logged onto my site this morning to find that the banner images on each page are not displaying. www.rtb2oneperday.co.uk All othe images seem OK, and the banner images are in the directory they were uploaded to. As I have not logged in for around a week (bust, busy, busy) I wondered it this was a by product of you recent release?

Hello Rob,

I've taken a look at the following pages:
http://www.rtb2oneperday.co.uk/
http://www.rtb2oneperday.co.uk/1.php
http://www.rtb2oneperday.co.uk/links.php

The banner images are showing at the top of the page for all 3. Am I meant to be looking at something different? What do you see instead, is there an "x" or is it just blank? Could you confirm what browser you're using?

HI.

I now cant get to Yola.com It is timing out. Tried two machines and two browsers on each. IE8 AND FF 3.6 , Win7 32bit, Vista 32bit.

No issues localy with DNS resolution or your address, or access to other sites in the UK or US.

I've checked with engineers on our side and we're not experiencing any problems with Yola.com or images on published sites.

When I go to your site, this is what I see:

I'm not sure what else to suggest other than ask someone on a different network to see if they can access Yola.com and also whether they can see your banners or not. This way we can try to find out if the problem lies with your system only or if it could be a broader issue.

I haven't seen any other complaints of this nature (other than the other thread you've posted on), but we'll keep aware of it.

Access to yola site now back, but the banners are missing in the site builder as well now FF3.6 If I go to /resources/banners the files are there but do not thumbnail (clicking on edit banner in site builder), these are 300x750 jpegs at 72 dpi sized with a 3 pixed black bottom border to match the Stylesheet background. Perhaps this failure to render explains my missing banners. The same is true if I try to view the /resources/banner directly from you old style file manager, but the images in /resources/Jan/ thumbnail and display on site without issue.

Hope this helps.

Win 7 32bit FF 3.6 and IE 8

Just been next door to a neighbours who I know uses a different ISP, same issue (banners not displaying). His computer has never previously accessed any of my sites so that should negate any cacheing issues. The image you show is what I would expect to see.

System used for Test Win Vista 32bit IE8

As for no one else having the issue, the thread started by Gamingmodshop looks very similar.

Hi Rob - thanks for letting us know about checking with your neighbor. I'm trying to find out on our side what could possibly be causing this.

I did comment about the Gamingmodshop thread in my previous post above, unfortunately I can't find a related Yola account so I can't check that site until they've posted more information.

This is what I am seeing to the same page you used as an example:

Non banner images continue to render perfectly.

Sorted it, it's down to Kapersky Pure (anti-virus package) All my machines use it, so does my neighbour (as I installed it for him). It appears that overnight there was an update and it now blocks by default all images with the word "banner" in their title. I can turn this off, but as I have no control over the tens of thousands of other Kaperski users out there. I'll probably rename all my banner files. The place to swith this off is in the following Kapersky management panel:

Computer protection -> On-line Activity -> On-line Security

You may wish to make a note of this as I may not be the last to report this as a Yola issue.
