Banner quality problem

I was wondering if there was anything i could do about improving the quality of the banner on my page, the main banner is all pixilated yet when i just upload a picture onto the page, at the same size, then it looks fine See what i mean here> www.rainbowveins.co.uk

You should resize your picture to original size of banner. Do that using Photoshop or any other software.

Your picture is to to to big (7087 x 2003px).

Automatic resizing by browser or poor software can ruin quality of picture.

Resize it to banner size, and if you satisfied with quality - upload it as a new banner.

LS is right. When you view your banner editor, you should see the dimensions of your banner area in the bottom left corner.
