BIG PROBLEM WITH NEW YOLASITEBUILDER

Hi.

Despite you presented the new Yolasitebuilder as a big improvement, I immediately noticed a very big problem: if you work on a page and than go to another page without clicking on SAVE button, the system doesn't remind you that the work will be lost....

Why have you removed the pop up notice/reminder for saving the updates??

Also the new visual appearance is very dissappointing.

I really don't understand this update

Regards,
Francesco

Hello Francesco,

Thank you for reaching out to us today!
I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue!

I can confirm that this functionality has not been removed. Here is screenshot of what I'm seeing within my browser, which is Google Chrome.

We would like to investigate your experience though, can you please confirm the browser you are using and which Operating System you are using.

We are sorry to hear about your experience with the new User Interface in the Sitebuilder.

For what I can see in the new Yolasitebuilder, the reminder to "save your updates" pops up only if you click the "preview" button . But if you change page, the reminder doesn't pop up, and you can lose your updates.

Have you tried this?

Hi Francesco,

We fixed this problem the day you reported it and a dialog menu does now appear reminding you to save changes when moving between pages. If this is not working for you, please try our initial troubleshooting tips here and and let us know how it goes.

UPDATE: Francesco, I'm so sorry. I see now that while the save prompt does appear, the page was already changed and my updates were lost. I missed this in my test because I have a large banner image that's the same on all my pages. I have updated the status of this problem again to "In Progress."

Hi Francesco,

The save prompt that was implemented when we last spoke is no longer working as expected. The team are looking into the problem and I will update this thread once it is resolved.

Until then, please be sure to save your work when switching pages.

Hello Rokki

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I've fixed the underlying domain issue for your domain. Your website is back online. Tip: You may want to change your site's background image in order to make it match with the content of your site.
