Hi, had a look on previous posts about this but i cant make sense of it all.

I only just noticed when using Internet explorer the website looks different to that of firefox and chrome, A black line has been placed around my logo at the top of the page and a black line going around the whole page. Its the same on every page.

Any ideas on how to get rid?

Hi Sam,

I had a look at this with IE8 since I don't have IE9.

The black line around the central insert is due to the rendering interpretation by IE8 of the drop shadow effect which is part of the template style.

I'm not seeing it around the logo.

The line doesnt show around the logo on the home page. It just shows on all the other pages. If you have a look at them you should see it,

OK I see. That's because the logo is a link and the default is set as links being surrounded by a box, I think. Your home page is the actual link.

I'll get back to you with the code to remove it.

The central insert is a different issue and I think you may have to resign yourself to that one.

Sam,

I think this code will work:

Add it to your Site CSS and it will remove all link underlining including images I hope from all your site.

let me know how it goes;

a {text-decoration:none}

If this doesn't work (because it is an expedient guess) I have a specific code which removes the border from images. Let me know if the first one worked.
