Hello. I'm trying to write a blog post on my site, without success. In the 'post body' field, rather than give me the opportunity to enter text it is blocked with an error message stating: 'website cannot be displayed'. Ideas anyone?

Also, is it possible to have my latest blog posts show on the home page?

My site: http://horsfordlife.yolasite.com/

Hi Les,

I have tested creating a new Blog post and it seems to be functioning as it should. I took a few screenshots for your reference.

(If you are not using FireFox or Chrome as your browser then please try this again in one of those.)

It is not possible to add your Blog post to your "Home" page as it is not a blog page. The Blog widgets will only be available on a actual Blog page.

I suggest using Chrome only for Yola blogs....I have had problems using Firefox and the blog text editor for over a year. Chrome works perfectly.

Hi Rod

Sadly that hasn't worked. I can see the 'test' blog title but when I attempt to go in and edit it the post body says the same: 'The webpage cannot be displayed'.

I've been very happy with Explorer up to this point, so don't intend to change to Chrome or Firefox. I guess I'll just have to go back to square one and see if I can find a site builder that works with Explorer.

Thanks for trying.

Hi Les
I have scoured the web for a basic sitebuilder that provides the features that Yola provides without success (the support factor and the knowledge base should be important factors in looking for a sitebuiler to work with, and Yola has in my opinion a hugh advantange here over the competition.)
I also had great reluctance to do my site building in Chrome and/or firefox. We are just so addicted to Explorer. The fact that many functions work much better in Chrome and/or work in Chrome and not Explorer finally convinced me to use Chrome for site building and Explorer, well for exploring.
Just give Chrome (or firefox) a try and I think you will find that you can take advantage of Yola's features, and have a more enjoyable site building experience.
