Blog on one page (pls i hve gone through tutorial dnt forward me that as your answer )

Hi am getting an error while submitting my 5th article of myblog on same page.I have added the image.Is there any whay that i can make 50 topic in my blog and only one liner appears on blog page and ppl may click which one they want to read.Now dont tell me going via categories or tags i know when u write it automatically they get connected after selection.Please tell why is not my fifth article published along with prior once e)?

Something abnormal.

In yola blogs , having the same tag for 2 posts sometimes result in bad, because yola creates individual pages for every each tag.
Try resubmitting without tags and to a already existing category.

Can you post the text in the error msg ?
I can't read it.

It is not a problem to give more than one post the same tag, this is what tags are for in a manner. If for example you give multiple posts the tag "Indian food" then when the tag is clicked on it will bring up all of the posts tagged with "Indian food", this is a benefit of tags, not a hindrance.

No ayesh ,i am trying this from one week,same error get and when i preview or publish becuase of this error may be i dont see the right side options like blogs,categories tags ....all these option disappear.Please reply me with a solution

Hello Rene,

I'm sorry you are having this trouble. You could receive a message like this "Invalid Component id '134'. Cannot Find Component HTML" if:

1. You have pasted some HTML onto your page that is not valid. This often happens if you accidentally miss a portion of the code and a tag is not closed.

2. You have copied and pasted some text from MS Word that has introduced problematic HTML or CSS. The best way to avoid this is to first copy and paste into a program like Notepad (you'll find it in the Accessories folder of your computer) This will strip out any unwanted formatting and you can then safely paste into the Text Widget.

If you get a message like this, hold down the escape key until it goes away. Then try to delete any widget that you think might contain problematic HTML or text copied and pasted from MS Word. If this does not work, unfortunately you will have to rebuild the page. One thing you can do is save a copy of your pages by clicking on the drop down arrow next to the "save" button and selecting "save page as". This will give you a back up version of your page in case something goes wrong. Remember to untick the box that says "include in navigation" so that the back up page does not appear in your main navigation. We are working on solutions for both of these scenarios to prevent problems of this nature in future.

Oh, the sidebar is now pack-able.
Look at the right line of your monitor for << sign and click on it.

If you said that the right part of the blog page disappeared , I'd like to suggest you to create a new blog page instead of old , it may not a trouble because you've added 4 posts yet.

Can you say words in the image's error msg ?

I have made a blog page again ayesh but still the same problem.same html error exists on page.
Emmy: i didnt added any html code thing except for very few blogs that u see in my previous screen shot.
HAVING said before i m repeating that the problem still exists due to that html error i dont see anything as my tags,categories etc all disappear i m attaching a screen shot.

I don't know what that err msg exactly say .

But I think there is a error with html parsing.

If you are using a comment code , or post script in Blog Manager > Settings , remove it and try again.

And , here is the best way to check.

Type the whole post again , and before hit the Post button , click on the HTML Button in the menu for post editor. Another window with a code will be opened. Copy that whole code.

Then , open notepad, and type this.

then , paste your code between these html and body tags.

At the bottom , put these.

then, go to save as dialog , choose any file as file type and save the file as "index.Html" .
Then , open the file with a browser app.

If you got the msg , or something similar there may be an error with yola blog widget , or in your post.

What are you saying?I made the whole bl og page again posted entire topics on new page as u said before.and i see html blank when i click on it.However when i drag blog wigets on my left side they work fine .but i want standard template to work, i want them as they are suppose to be.Will you please reply with some solution.Additionaly yola support is just not helping . i didnt get any relevant reply from them at all.This is so disappointing.

Is your blog published? So we can take a look? I can't see your site at all except for the small screen shots and it is hard to diagnose a problem.

Hello Rene,
I believe the problem you are experiencing is due to copying and pasting from MS Word. This can definitely cause problems with display and functionality as there is a large amount of extra formatting code that is taken along when you copy and paste from Word that can break your page. What I would suggest you do if you want to copy and paste is to first take the text into Notepad, and then from there copy and paste into the Sitebuilder. If you currently have any posts on your site that were taken from Word, the thing to do would be to removed them (or copy and paste the text into Notepad) and then add new blog posts to your page using the text from Notepad. Or, you can type directly into the blog post in the Sitebuilder. I believe if you follow these instructions the problem will be remedied. Please let us know how this goes.
