Blog page will not let me change font size and color effectively!

When I am working in the blog application, I try to change the font size and color and it only works half the time. If I increase the font one size, it stops increasing after that (today, anyway). Then after I increase the font size, I try to change the color of the blog font, and it goes away as soon as I try to adjust the font size again. The whole thing is not working at all. Please take a look at this and find a sollution, as I want to make my blog letters as large and user-friendly as possible. Thank you so much! :-) Julie

Hi Julie,

Can you confirm if this is your website: http://authenticwomancoach.com/?

If so, the blog page took awhile to load for me. Do you happen to have any custom code added to your page or text copied and pasted from a rich text editor? That could be the cause of your font editing, if so. The best alternative is to paste your text into NotePad (in the accessories folder of your computer) and then paste it as plain text onto your Yola page. You can then use the Yola text editor to format your text as desired. You can also use this Text Editor to format and spell check your text and strip out copy and pasted code. It will generate valid markup which you can safely paste into the Yola Sitebuilder.

Please let me know if this is either not your site, or does not address your problem.

Hi Laura-
Thanks for your reply :-) yes, www.authenticwomancoach.com is my site. Not sure why my blog page took a while to load for you. it comes up right away for me. I do not have any custom code added to the blog page. just a feedburner box where people can sign up for my blog, but nothing else. i do not use any special font or text that i copy into yola. i always type my blogs in live. so there should be no problem editing the font size or color, as it was all done in the yola blog widget in the first place. i can try typing things in notepad first, but not sure if this will help, as i am not doing anything special or strange in the first place.

i guess i have some things to try. this problem seems to only occur sometimes. its hit or miss??? anyway, please let me know if you advise is any different, knowing I am not embedding any special text from elsewhere, i am just typing as i go. thanks so much!

Hello Julie

I'm wondering what browser and version you are using? Also, could you please try updating your Flash and Java to see if this helps?

Thank you for your patience as we work on this together.

Hi Julie,
Thanks for providing that information. I know we're asking you to try lots of things here, but I'm hoping something one of the suggestions will prove to be helpful. Can you make sure you are using the most recent version of Firefox, you can download the most recent version here: Download Firefox. Then give it another try with your blog. If this doesn't help, you can email us at support@yola.com and we can take a closer look in your Sitebuilder and try to help further with the problem.

Kind Regards,
Emmy
