Hi redbookcastro,

Google claim that they are unbiased when it comes to CMS. Ranking is currently believed to be most influenced by quality and originality of content. Initial speed of indexing may be affected by the system used. I find that any new post I make is indexed within the hour.

Many here have had great success with Yola blogs although it is limited in its functionality. For recognition though I think that they are on a par.

The submenus you talk about are available on Yola's Preium Styles for thos who have Silver. Bronze subscribers can use a third party facility that would offer this and there are many out there that can be employed and installed on Yola Free and Yola Bronze. Bronze subscription won't give you sitewide addition of these sub-menus but you can certainly add them page by page.

Gop is right on track about your blog question. The type of blog you use has little to no impact, rather it's the content you post and frequency of updates. That being said, if you have advanced blogging needs, you would be better served by using our Tumblr widget, or an alternate blog platform as the Yola blog offers just the basics.
