Hello Tamara,

When you first start your site or when you add new pages you will be able to choose a blog page or a webpage. If you have a blog page you would have created your first post when you initially started, so this leads me to believe you chose webpage instead of blog page.

This is easily fixable! Do you want your blog to be your site's home page or would you like to have a webpage as your home page, and your blog as another page of the site, both are possible.

To create a blog page click on the "New Page" page button and choose to create a blog page. You will then be able to go through the steps to create the page and start creating posts.

Here is a link to our tutorial with more information on how to create a blog with Yola: Creating a blog with Yola.

If you would like to change your current home page into a blog page, here is a link with more information on how to do this: Change home page to blog page.

I hope this helps!

Hi Emmy, when doing a blog through Yola can you not even change the font of your posts or are you stuck with that font for the whole page?

Hi Craig

Emmy is currently offline right now.

At this time the blog editor does not have have a font style change feature like the text widget. You can change the font style, but this will require changing it through the HTML. Here is how to do this:

1. Click on the "Edit HTML Code" icon on the blog toolbar, it is the very last icon.

2. For the text you would like to change you can use this code. Where you see "courier", that is where you can put the font style you would like to use.

<span style="font-family: courier">This is the text you would like to change.</span>

Please note: Not all fonts are web safe, this means that some browsers will not be able to display certain fonts. If you look at the list of fonts that are available in the text widget, this is a list of fonts that are web safe.

What about blogger headings? Can you change the font of these also or is there another blog which could be used and embedded into our websites?

Unfortunately, you are not able to change the blog heading fonts either. I'm sorry. If you wish to use a different blogging platform, you can try embedding it into your site using an iframe code.

<iframe src="http://yourblogurl.com&quot; width="100%" height="1000px"></iframe>
