i hoomer, on your helderberg site,

please may i use some of your images?

you can see the ones i have used,

if you dont want me to use them i will remove them with no delay.

also, how do you make the mimages that size?

(i used yours because of the size & clearness),

You may use them, no problem Al.
I use Faststone image viewer for all my resizing and cropping !

I'm going to answer for Boomer (hopefully he won't mind!) - yes... you can edit in Picnik. Faststone image viewer allows for better compression and ability to retain the quality of the photos. In your case, since the images you are copying are already on a manageable size, Picnik should be just fine for you.

Thanks for stepping in Lu,
I didn't notice Alex was asking a second question - missed the "??" on the end.

Because we are ripped off in this country by our intenet service providers (high bandwidth cost), I try and do a lot of work offline, specially image editing.
It's also faster. The last time I used Picnik was about a year ago, and at the time I thought it was pretty good.
