what is boorish?

I dont mind having the synthasite links at the bottom of each page, Synthasite saves me thousands of pounds so a link doesnt bother me but what does Boorish mean? Can i remove just this word? the rest can stay. - much love.

boor noun [C]
a person who is rude and does not consider other people's feelings

example: I found him rather boorish and aggressive.

(from Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary)

That makes it more confusing? Why have it written before the footer links?
I think Synthasite is boorish? to write this on my website pages.

Just so people don't think i'm crazy check it out - the sites not finished so ignore that, just look at the bottom of the home page.

Any official comments on this matter?

Ed has provided a good explanation below. The name was chosen by the person who designed the style. We can understand why you might not want it on your site though! I will pass your feedback on and find out if anything can be done. In the meantime your best option is to select a different style.

Hi lee

Boorish is in fact the title of the style you are currently using. There is no way currently to remove it as this is in part the footer that is attached to the Synthasite advert on your site.

If it is a bother for you to have it on your site you might think about changing styles to something that does not say boorish. I use Tastlessly and this has a very minimal footer. You might think about it as a solution for you...

Your site is really starting to take shape. Keep up the good work ;)

Happy site building
