The bottom half of some of my text headings seem to disappear when viewing web-page, almost like a strikethrough with the bottom half missing! They start off looking ok but when you scroll to the bottom of the page and then back up to the heading - it has gone squiffy! Quite difficult to explain, but if it has happened to you, hope you will recognise the problem and come up with a solution! Go to my site to see what I mean :-(

Hi Katie Starfish

I was unable to replicate the problem that you are experiencing. This is a screenshot of the bottom of your site that I see:

What browser are you using? Yola works best with FF. If you don't have FF, you can download it free from here: http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/fi...

If you see it happen again, could you take a screenshot of it so that we can see the problem in action?

Hi there and thanks for such a swift response! I think I've added a screenshot showing the title Starfish Hippy Shop with lower half missing...

Hi Katie

Thanks for sharing the screenshot. Now I can see what you're talking about. Unfortunately, I do not see this occurring on my browsers for either Firefox or IE.

I'm wondering it would it make a difference if you made that section smaller? By this I mean, make your star and text a little smaller in height.

What template are you using? I would like to try to see if I can replicate this problem. This may be a bug.

One more thought! I wonder if it may have to do with your window size? Can you try viewing it at a larger screen resolution?

I have looked at the site on many different set-ups and it always looks the same. Does it look ok on yours on IE7 when you scroll down to the bottom of the page and then scroll back up to the title? It always goes back to normal on re-fresh but the problem comes back when you start scrolling.

I see what you mean about adjusting the window size. If it all fitted on without scrolling, I guess it wouldn't be a problem..

Ahh... now I see it! I had to keep scrolling up and down a few times before I could see it! I'm not sure what to say Katie. It must be a bug with that template. I would suggest sending an email to support@yola.com and explain this to them. They may be able to determine if this is a bug or something related to how you designed your page. I'm sorry that I couldn't have been more helpful. Yola has a few dark templates that may work with your theme that you might want to explore if you don't have time to wait.

Hi Katie

It looks like your page is longer than your screen. I see on the right of hand side of your screen there is a scroll bar enabled. Click on this and scroll down and you should be able to see the rest of your page. If this does not work for you, let us know.

Monique... I think she's talking about her title "Starfish Hinny Shop". See the bottom half of her text - it looks like it's being cut off?

Hi Katie

I don't know if your problem has been resolved, but I thought you may be interested in this thread. Another person also had the same problem as you and was able to rectify his problem. Here's the thread:
