Hello Paul,

This action can be done with an anchor. To do this you will need to create or find a suitable button image, upload it to your File Manager and for this example call it button.jpg. At the place you wish to display the button you would add this code <A HREF="#forum"><img src="resources/button.jpg"</A>
to an HTML widget dragged onto your page. This code displays the button which is linked to some code which tells the page display to jump to a marker. I have lablelled the marker "forum".
At the place that your forum is displayed, say one line before, add another HTML widget and add this code line <A NAME="forum">

If I need to make this more clear please let me know.

Hi Paul,

The code I gave you simply takes you to that part of the page where your forum may be. It doesn't initiate the forum dialogue that would still need to happen as you have previously done.

If you can give me the address of your page then I can see the code that is on that page. In fact it looks as if the forum is down or there's some issue currently??

Hi Paul,

Looks as if your code got screwed:

<a href="#forum">
<img a="" <="" src="resources/forumbutton.png">
</a>

try to replace it with: <a href="#forum"><img src="resources/forumbutton.png"></a>

I can't find the jump to code on your page ie <A NAME="forum">

Is it on the same page or is this a link somewhere else in your site?

Hi Paul,

In the second piece of code, are you adding it as is or are you placing the forum address as a replacement for "forum"?

It's an unexpected outcome because it is just a simple internal link in effect?? Has me bewildered as well.

placed the 1st bit of code on top of page (THE BUTTON IMAGE)
placed 2nd piece of code right under the forum (BOTTOM OF PAGE)
then click the button it takes me to bottom of page
but forum does not load i get the chrome error and tried it with IE and say page cannot load
yet if i go to the home page and just scroll down to bottom the forum is loaded
thanks again think this has us beat
