Branding a website for a business and wonder what everyone thinks of my storefront design so far...

So, the original site was being rebuilt by a company on the East coast and the business owners contacted me to try and fix the unfinished site when the web design firm went bankrupt.

Finding out that the site was built in 100%flash and was only a one page site I opted to use the ever faithful Yola so that the business owner could do the future editing themselves. They agreed completely to start fresh and get as far away from the flash site as they could.

The original decade old site: http://www.conceptdenture.com/

The unfinished flash site they paid to have built: http://www.gotoconceptdental.com/

The site that I am re-branding with a new custom logo and website to match:http://conceptdentures.yolasite.com/

I went with a clean gray look and white font with some drop shadowing which really pops the letters out. I did some work on the tooth and made him wink when moused over to de-stress the visitor and make the site more friendly and inviting.

Made a few sign lights on the top to give the site a real storefront look and plan to fill the windows with content (images and text). I layered the image of the windows under the text so that I can give the content a bordered effect.

This is after some 10 different designs (12 hours) and I think that it just fell into place with this one but want some likes/dislikes from other eyes.

Happy site building
Ed

Thanks Chief... As you of all people well know the site branding is the most difficult part and many people don't spend the time required to really brand their sites. Not only am I designing them a website but a business card and new company sign so that their branding is totally complete and matches.

Wait for more content from them before I move onto the other stages... Needed to sleep anyway. LOL I hate insomnia... ;)

It's already a cleaner, less cluttered layout than the unfinished flash version. Really great start. Can't wait to see it develop as you gather more content!

I like it! Nice work! It looks much better than the old one and it is better than flash because it is search-engine friendly while Flash is not search-engine friendly. Good job and I can't wait to see the next awesome effect you put on it!

P.S I love your mouseovers, they are all awesome! Good job!

For dragable elements, did you use the jQuery UI? Nice work!
