bronze or silver link removal

Hi
I noticed that since Yola introduced Yola Silver the price has increased from $19.99 to $49.99, granted there are more features for those that want/need them, but what about those that already have our own domains hosting etc and only want link removal, is there a cheaper option just for link removal? Is the Bronze option still available?

Thanks
Kenny

Hi Kenny,

Thank you for your question. Yola Silver simply replaced our previous subscription package, Yola Pro which was at the same price of $49.95. There was no increase from $19.95 to $49.95. You can still purchase a domain name from Yola for $19.95.

If you have bought a domain name, a premium style, or link removal from us in the past, then this now qualifies you as a Yola Bronze user!

We have discontinued selling the Yola Link Removal as an ala carte product and I would like to explain why.

The main reason we removed this single product feature is that very few customers had an interest in purchasing it as such, which made it no longer sustainable for us as a business to offer this product on its own, we have therefore included it in our Yola Silver package. If you upgrade to Yola Silver, it will automatically be removed for all the sites in your account.

Please note that in order to honor our commitment to customers who have already purchased this feature, they will get to keep it forever. In other words, if you have all ready purchased the Yola Link Removal, there will be no renewal fee and you will not be forced to upgrade to Yola Silver to keep this feature if you have already purchased it. Also, if you have already purchased Yola Link Removal, or any other premium feature, you can upgrade to Yola Silver at a 30% discount!

I hope this helps to explain why there was a change in our product offerings. For more information on Yola Silver please see: Yola Packages.

Hi Kershnee,
Does this mean that even though some of us don't want 25 sites, or a premium style or any of that, we still have to buy Yola Silver to get rid of the Yola Link?

Hi Kershnee,

thank you for the reply. So to sum up the only way that I could now have the yola link removed from my site is to buy a domain that I don't need ( I already have one) and in order to keep the link off my site I presume that I would have to renew any domain that I bought through you on a yearly basis?

My problem with this is that $19.95 per year for a domain plus $9.96 per year for e-mail does seem expensive when compared to somewhere like godaddy (which is where my domain is registered and hosted) when all I really want is the link to be removed from my site.

having been a yola user back in the days when it was synthasite I would be sorry to have to give up using yola, and I'm now kicking myself for not purchasing link removal when it was first announced!

Is there no way around this?

Kenny
