I can edit, save, and publish my site. However, when I try to visit my site, my browser responds with an error message informing me that the server cannot be found. What's the problem?

Hello Arien,

I cannot find that your domain is registered. It doesn't seem to exist.

Can you tell me where you bought this domain and how long ago? Happy to go further and hopefully solve this issue.

I looked also and the name actually shows as available to be registered.

Thanks KTD.

Arien it seems that you need to confirm the purchase of this domain. This is best done by communicating with the registrar you purchased this domain. If this is being purchased from a third party and you wish to subsequently point it to Yola's servers, then please let us know.

Your easiest solution is to purchase this domain through Yola and the configuration is automatic.

I don't recall purchasing the domain through a registrar. I thought that I'd already secured the use of the domain by setting up the site through yola.com? Isn't the use of the domain included in the use of a yola account?

Hi Arien,

The domain is a separate purchase. You need to specifically purchase the domain. If you need help with this leave a message here.

The use of a yolasite sub-domain is included free with a Yola subscription but this is different to a custom domain. For example you could publish to lodgefortnassau1819.yolasite.com. for free. These subdomains are less potent in recognition than a custom domain.

Hi Arien,

You can publish to a .yolasite subdomain free of charge, for example: http://lodgefortnassau1819.yolasite.com/, however a custom domain such as http://lodgefortnassau1819.com must be registered separately either through Yola.com or an alternate domain registrar.

I was unable to find an account for the email address associated with the forum so in order for us to investigate further, please submit a request to support here from the email address associated with your Yola account.
