Building outside of the layout boxes?

I'm just wondering something here.

I am using the 2-column left layout in my site. In the bigger box, I added another 2 column widget. On one side of this 2 column thing, I added my buttons. In the middle I added some text and image. This middle column has resized to accomodate the size of my image. As a result, it has made my right hand column very small.

Now, in the right hand column I have another object. This appears to be pushed outside of the boundaries of the red layout box due to the middle column. Does this matter? Or does everything need to fit within the layout boxes? It appears to still show up fine in the published mode.

Hi littleus

The drop zones in the layouts are set to resize according to the content that is placed in them. This can cause problems if the content ends up outside of the style margins. However, if the final result meets with your approval you are probably on the right track.

It would be easier to tell you if everything is working correctly if I could see the page, but from your description it sounds ok.

Looks good to me. If you are happy I wouldn't change anything.
